Skin Studio Policies & Etiquette
To ensure a great experience for each of my clients I ask that the following Skin Studio Policies & Etiquette be observed. By calling or scheduling your appointment online, you are indicating that you understand and accept these terms and conditions stated in the Skin Studio Policies.
Please note, Laura Vera Skin takes clients by appointment only. For your convenience, online scheduling is available.Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time for you to check-in, fill out or update paperwork. New guests will be asked to complete a confidential health questionnaire, linked above, designed with your well being in mind. You may be asked to update your information on a regular basis.
Complimentary parking is available. The gated parking garage is located under the building. The code for the gated garage will be available in your appointment confirmation emails. Please note, elevator access is not available.
Late Arrival Policy
Your appointment time is as important to me as it is to you. In an effort to ensure that each Laura Vera client receives the same stellar service, I endeavor to stick to a strict schedule. I understand that life happens, however, treatments will require abbreviation or rescheduling if you arrive late. Treatment will end on time to ensure the next client is not delayed, and full price of your treatment will be charged. Late arrival may result in a shortened treatment time to ensure that the next guest is not delayed.
Ultimately it is your responsibility to remember your appointment time, however, Laura Vera will provide 2 courtesy reminders, 48 and 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
Cell Phone Policy
Please silence your phone while in the studio. Consider this truly private time during which you can temporarily check out for restoration.
Laura Vera accepts all major credit cards and cash. Prices are subject to applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Child and Minor Treatment Policy
For the safety of your child, we kindly request that you make arrangements for minor childcare during your appointment.
Minor teens and children with scheduled appointments must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the entire appointment.
All Laura Vera prices are subject to change without prior notice.
This is a gratuity-free skin studio. In lieu of gratuity, I ask that you please donate your desired amount to Paw Pantry. You may donate at the time of your service, or click here to donate online.
Cancellation and Refund Policies
All appointments must be guaranteed with a credit card.
Your appointments are very important to me and are reserved especially for you. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I respectfully request at least 24- hour notice. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and other clients miss the opportunity to receive services.
My Online Booking System sends out 2 reminders, 48 and 24 hours in advance. Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and the cancellation fee. Because services are reserved for you exclusively, a cancellation fee will apply. In the event that I do not receive the required notice for adjustments and cancellations the following fees will be applied to your card or alternatively, billed out to you via PayPal:
Notification given at least 24 hours prior to your appointment will receive no charges.
Notification given less than 24 hours prior to appointment time will result in a 50% charge of the service booked.
Failure to no-show your appointment will result in a 100% charge of the reserved service amount.
Please note that chargebacks on credit cards for late notice cancellations fees will result in refusal of future services at Laura Vera Skin.
Last Minute Exceptions
Your health is invaluable. I understand that bugs occasionally creep up on us suddenly so I do make an allowance for last minute cancellations due to illness. Get well soon.
Return & Refund Policy
All products are sold as brand new and for personal use only. Refunds will be given only on unopened items within 14 days of purchase. Special consideration will be given in the event of an allergic reaction.
Returns or reimbursement of a treatment series purchase will not be honored. Any remaining amount will be honored towards other services of equal value or credit of equal value.
Gift Cards & Online Certificates
Gift cards are non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash. All gift cards must be mentioned prior to scheduling your appointment. Gift cards must be presented at your appointment. Gift cards may only be used on services. Gift cards are not applicable towards product purchases.
I respect the privacy of my clients and will not release any client information to third parties. I never trade, sell, rent, or share addresses or any other personal information with anyone. Any information obtained is used to process your purchase or maintain your client file only.
Email and physical address are used solely for the purpose of communication between Laura Vera Skin and clients. I respect your time and attention by carefully controlling the frequency of digital communication. If you would prefer to cease receiving mail or email, or to change your expressed interests, simply let me know, and your file will be updated.
